Editorial policy

How we select, verify, correct, and update Restaurante Lleno content. Independence, sources, and authorship.

This policy explains how what we publish is produced. It is a commitment to you as a reader and also a way for anyone to audit our work.

Independence

We do not accept payment for reviews, coverage, or ratings. Meal invitations do not condition the text: if we accept one, we say so in the article. Advertising, if it exists, is identified and kept separate from the editorial section.

Authorship

Every article carries an identifiable author or team, with a page explaining who writes and what they cover. Team texts are signed as “Editorial Desk”. We do not publish anonymous content unless protecting a source justifies it, and in that case we say so.

Sources and verification

  • Verifiable data is checked against public sources: official bodies, guides, studies, and product documentation.
  • Claims we cannot support are removed or toned down.
  • Figures carry a unit, a date, and context.
  • Primary sources are linked when they are available.
  • We do not invent visits, prices, restaurant names, or quotes.

Reviews and guides

A review describes a specific experience and says so. A guide summarizes criteria and does not present itself as a visit. We do not publish reviews of restaurants we have not visited, or ratings of dishes we have not tasted.

Articles from before 2024 are kept as an editorial archive and carry a review note. Guides are not reviews of establishments: they describe criteria and experiences, not paid visits.

Corrections

If an article contains an error, we correct it and record the date. To send a correction, use the contact form and include the link, the paragraph, and the source.

We do not delete articles to hide mistakes. If a text stops being useful, it is updated or marked as archived.

Updates

The update date only changes when the content changes substantially. We do not touch the date to simulate freshness. Articles with time-sensitive data —prices, legislation, seasons— are reviewed at a reasonable interval.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools for auxiliary tasks: transcription, sorting notes, style checking, or drafting. Editorial decisions, data verification, and final responsibility are human. We do not publish generated text without review.

Advertising and affiliation

If there are affiliate links in the future, they will be identified before the link and will not influence the rating. We do not sell places on lists or “mentions”.

Contact

If you have any question about this policy, use the contact form.

Archive content and translations

The portal keeps articles published since 2014. When a text is kept for its practical value but has not been fully rewritten, it is identified as archive content and the original publication year is given. Editions in Portuguese, English, and German are labeled with their language and reviewed by the editorial team.

Contact and corrections

Corrections are handled through the contact form. If the correction affects a verifiable fact, the article is updated and the date is recorded.
